BEER-SAMPLING EVENT TO BENEFIT ACT
Altoona Community Theatre will hold a beer sampling benefit featuring new and favorite autumn brews from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, September 28, at the Railroaders Memorial Museum railyard. This is the second year the local theatre troupe has partnered with Sheetz as a Corporate Sponsor to raise funds for its production season at The Historic Mishler Theatre.
Among the upstart and well-known brewers participating are Marzoni’s, Magic Hat, Atwater, Troegs, Southern Tier, Great Lakes, Old Forge, Batch 19, Angry Orchard, Third Shift, Blue Moon, Sam Adams, Kona, Duquesne and more. Entertainment will be provided by Tyne Palazzi and Jack & Lilly and food will be available. All attendees, 21 and older, must show proper photo ID at gate.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 day-of-event and are available at Brew Zoo in the Pleasant Valley Shoping Center, or online through EventBrite at https:actbeerfest.eventbrite.
