CENTRAL PA HUMANE HOSTS FIRST-EVER “FUR BALL” FUNDRAISER

The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society will host its first-ever “Fur Ball,” a night of elegant fun, on Saturday, October 20, 2012, 6:00 PM, at The Blairmont Club in Hollidaysburg. The evening will begin with the Pooch Parade sponsored by Stuckey Subaru, featuring adoptable dogs from the shelter all dressed up for a night on the town. Human guests also will enjoy a fabulous dinner; a full open bar featuring signature seasonal martinis; great dance music provided by Steve Willet; and an extensive silent auction with unique gifts.

Tickets are $75 per person and are now available at the CPHS shelter, 1837 East Pleasant Boulevard, and at Cassidy’s Brew Zoo, 3415 Pleasant Valley Boulevard. Both locations will accept purchases by cash, check, or credit card. Tickets also may be purchased by PayPal on the CPHS web site, www.centralpahumane.org.

Proceeds from the Fur Ball will benefit the 5,000 animals entrusted to the care of the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society each year. The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society receives no financial support from any government organization or national rescue society. We depend entirely on donations from our community. For more information, contact the CPHS shelter at 942-5402.
