About Cohen:
Cohen David Allen was born September 13, 2013. Doctors first believed that he was experiencing respiratory difficulties, so he was transported to a neonatal unit about an hour from home. Two days later, it was determined that Cohen had a heart condition... and he was flown to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

His diagnosis is Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia and major aortopulmonary collateral arteries... which will require multiple heart surgeries.

On September 26th, 2013... Cohen underwent emergency surgery for a condition known as necrotizing enterocolitis. Due to poor blood flow, his intestines developed an infection which resulted in removal of approximately one-third of both his small and large intestine. A follow-up surgery on September 28th found that the initial surgery was successful, with only an additional small portion of his large intestine removed.

On December 5, 2013 Cohen had his first major heart repair. He is still recovering from the surgery and hopefully will be able to go home for the first time soon.

Cohen's parents are David & Stephanie (Bakner) Allen. He has an older brother Hudson (5) and an older sister Eliza (2). All five members of Cohen's family appreciate your thoughts & prayers.

Though Cohen's case is very rare and the road ahead will be challenging, he will recover to enjoy a long and fruitful life.

We hope that you will find Cohen's story inspiring. Thank you for joining Team Cohen.

I just wanted to clarify something. We are NOT selling tickets at the door. We may have up to 25 meals available just in case, but we are trying to plan ahead as much as possible.  If it is at all possible to air that the tickets are available now through January 31st that would be very helpful.  For tickets people can call me at 814-594-5353. My name and number is on the flyer.
