The CENTRE DAILY TIMES REPORTS THAT Penn State’S HETZEL UNION BUILDING IS IN LINE FOR a 44-POINT-6 MILLION DOLLAR renovation. The project will add NEARLY 55-THOUSAND square feet of space and renovate 52-THOUSAND square feet. University officials SAY The highlight of the renovation is a student commons area where now there is a sidewalk outside the lower level of the building toward the HUB parking deck. The project will be paid for using money from student facility fees, HUB reserves, and food services funds and bookstore reserves.
